The Jakarta Government supports the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate in conducting the Operation Keselamatan Jaya 2025 (safety operation).

We'll prepare 100 Dishub personnel, tow trucks, and vehicle inspections

Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi said the Jakarta Government's support for Operation Keselamatan Jaya included the deployment of hundreds of personnel and a fleet of tow trucks belonging to Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub).

The statement above was stated when he attended the ceremony for the Operation Keselamatan Jaya 2025, at the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate's Precision Field on Monday (2/10).

"We'll prepare 100 Dishub personnel, tow trucks, and vehicle inspections," he expressed.

According to him, support was given from the side of preventing motorcyclists from going against the flow of traffic.

"Also illegal parking and the roadworthiness of motor vehicles. Insya Allah (God willing), this operation will run smoothly," he explained.

He also hoped that the synergy between the police, army, and Jakarta Government could smoothen the operation from today until February 23, 2025.

Polda Metro Jaya Chief, Gen. Pol. Karyoto explained the operation aimed at improving the discipline of motorbike drivers while in traffic.

"This is also to improve traffic discipline and public compliance with Law No. 22/2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation.

"So, the number of personnel deployed is 2,979, consisting of 2,799 police officers, 80 army personnel, and 100 transportation personnel," he closed.
